How to measure your wall for panels

सही नापले सही संख्यामा sheet अर्डर गर्न मद्दत गर्छ, न धेरै बाँकी रहन्छ न कम हुन्छ।
चाहिने सामान
नाप्ने फित्ता (measuring tape), मोबाइल र एक जना सहयोगी।
चरणहरू
- चौडाइ माथि, बीचमा र तल गरी तीन ठाउँमा नाप्नुहोस्। सबैभन्दा ठूलो नाप लिनुहोस्।
- उचाइ पनि बायाँ, बीच र दायाँ गरी तीन ठाउँमा नाप्नुहोस्।
- सबै नाप एउटै एकाइमा (feet वा metre) लेख्नुहोस्, र कुन एकाइ हो पनि लेख्नुहोस्।
- खम्बा वा भित्ताको छेउ (side) पनि ढाक्ने भए हरेक भाग छुट्टै नाप्नुहोस्।
- झ्याल र ढोकाको नाप पनि लिनुहोस्। अनुमानका लागि साना झ्याल घटाउनु पर्दैन, काटछाँटमा मिलाइन्छ।
- काटछाँट र गल्तीका लागि ५–१०% थप हिसाब गर्नुहोस्।

Good measurements mean you order the right number of sheets: not too many left over, and no running short.
What you need
A measuring tape, your phone and someone to hold the other end.
Steps
- Measure the width in three places: top, middle and bottom. Use the largest.
- Measure the height in three places too: left, middle and right.
- Write everything in one unit (feet or metres) and note which one.
- If you are also covering pillar faces or wall returns, measure each face separately.
- Note windows and doors. For an estimate you don't need to subtract small openings; they are cut out during fitting.
- Add 5–10% extra for cutting and mistakes.
